I’m Jared Ward, the owner and operator of Mineral Basin Excavation LLC. My Love of construction started when I was 3 years old. I would dig in my sandpit for hours excavating large holes to build in. My interest in heavy equipment started very young.

Bob the builder was a popular show on PBS that I watched for hours. I loved to learn about the basics of construction that the show taught. This was truly my foundation of learning and exploring the construction process.

I had an opportunity to run some big equipment when I was about 11 years old. We bought a new house, and the land need some landscaping and excavation work. That was a dream come true.

Currently I work with Big-D Construction company out of Park City UT. I ‘m a Project engineer. The company has provided great insights and “on the job” experience for me. One of my favorite things to do is visit worksites and see the process in action.
